How to Install a Vinyl Siding Mount for Your Doorbell

Look for a vertical seam in your siding—this marks the start and end of each panel. During installation, you’ll slide the top of the vinyl mount into the bottom of the siding panel at this seam. Don’t worry about being precisely at the seam; as long as it’s along the vinyl joint at the bottom, you’re good to go.

Next, measure the height of your siding panel from the top edge to the bottom (as demonstrated in the accompanying image). Compare this measurement to the mount sizes available in our listings—standard panels typically range from 3 to 5 inches. Choose the mount size that matches your panel.
