Return and Refund

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.  The return shipping label fee is equal to the original shipping charge you paid on the order or $10— whatever you paid us to ship the item to you is what will be deducted from your refund to ship it back. If your original order qualified for free shipping, a $10 charge will be deducted from the refund to cover the original shipping cost we paid on your behalf in addition to the return shipping label.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging, not used, or had a doorbell screwed into it. You’ll also need the original packaging.  If the item was damaged in shipping, you must keep the package, and take picture of the package for the claim to get new item.  If you ship the item back in a different box or packaging where the item is not protected, the return will be cancelled.  Only the main product is refundable..  Any add on items like wire, and fast order fulfillment, original shipping charges, angle adjustments, extensions, shims, are not returnable.  If your item is customized by adding an angle, or hole spacing changes, those items can only be exchanged and not refunded.  Any returns of these items will only be credited back for an exchange and not eligible for refund.

To start a return,  Go to the website www.doorbellmount.com and LOGIN or Click the person icon and go to your orders and request a return or you can contact us at shop@doorbellmount.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address:   ---REQUEST RETURN LABEL ONLY----  No return accepted without a supplied return label. 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Up to 25% Restocking fee will apply to any order returned that has not been replaced with another order or the restocking fee may be credited toward another order or gift card, or promotion code..  Custom designed products cannot be returned.  You may wonder why restocking fees are so high, we actually do not restock the parts as we do not resell returned items.  They are discarded.  We only sell new unused items.   The restocking charges covers our labor and material to manufacture the parts, so we are only returning to you the profit we are making on our items.  We do ask that you kindly consider taking a store credit or promotion code equal to the full value of your return instead of incurring the restocking charge.  We would much prefer you exchange the item. Refunds will be issued as store credit.  Requests for refunds to original payment method can be made within 7 days of receiving the item back, only in cases where items have not been used, all screws, packaging, and and materials are returned.  Otherwise refund is issued as store credit.

Cancellation

A minimum of $5 cancellation fee will apply to cancelled orders for payment processing fees that cannot be refunded.

Exchanges:

Exchanges within 30 days require a handled on a case by case basis.   if you ordered the wrong bracket and it does not fit your doorbell, then you need to go to this listing and order a new bracket and use code "5OFF" (it only works on this listing).  The bracket is $5 for a replacement

For the 2 examples above, you will not have to ship the item back and you will not be charged the $5 exchanged item fee.  Advanced exchanges can be made where can pay ahead of time and we refund after we receive the part back or we can make other arrangements to quickly get you something you can use.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.  Please keep all packaging material and please take pictures so we can make a claim with the shipping carrier for the damage.   We may ask you to bring the package to shipping carrier to help with the claim, or we may send you a label to send the damaged item with packaging back to us.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like  custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards or shipping fees or for shipping protection.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Credits on returns are usually done within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for  credits to post.. 
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at shop@doorbellmount.com.  Also please remember, all returns are subject to a restocking fee.  Refunds will be issued as store credit.  Requests for refunds to original payment method can be made within 7 days of receiving the item back, only in cases where items have not been used, all screws, packaging, and and materials are returned.  Otherwise refund is issued as store credit only if there are any missing or used items    

Must send pictures by TEXT to us Toll Free (833)-DBMOUNT or (833)326-6868 and purchase the recommended product for the guarantee to be honored.   Also you must give us at least one opportunity to fix the issues before any credits can be provided without restocking fees applied.   

Easy exchange if you do not send pictures. I have solved thousands of problem installs and I will have a solution for yours, no matter how odd.


WARRANTY:
Normal warranty for all items fall within the return window provided and will provide free shipping on warranty replacement within 30 days.

All products carry a 90 day warranty.
