This baseplate is used for the adjustable mount in tight areas.
This can be installed in narrow areas that are 3/4in wide where you can fit a swivel base and let it overhang on side. The screw holes are offset 1/2in from the edge. So if you can install the screw at least 1/2in off the wall and the area is flat, then this adapter plate will fit.
